About Jim Vachon
Jim grew up in Maine and later settled in Hampton Roads during his time in the U.S Navy. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Geographical Sciences. Early in his career he worked in the City of Norfolk Planning office as a Senior Plans Reviewer. Then he spent the next 20 years as a Project Manager overseeing a vast portfolio of projects in the commercial, federal, multi-family and healthcare arenas from in Virginia and as far away as Georgia and Texas.
Jim is a LEED AP+, DBIA certified, HCC certified, and USACE CQC certified. He is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for the Engineering Department at Old Dominion University and an appointed member of the Historical Review Board for the City of Virginia Beach. Jim spends his free time with his wife and four kids. He is an avid fan of New England sports teams.
