About Lisa Middlebrooks
Lisa Middlebrooks brings over 8 years of experience in construction management, with extensive experience in multifamily and higher education. Throughout her career, she has contributed to building relationships with all levels of stakeholders, sustainability processes, and project analytics, fueling her passion for productive communication, environmentally conscious construction methods, and high levels of efficiency.
Prior to joining Sussex, Lisa worked in institutional commercial construction, gaining valuable experience in complex systems requiring extensive coordination efforts. She is excited to bring her expertise to the Project Management team and contribute to Sussex’s mission and vision.
Lisa enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and giving back to her community, and volunteers with the Virginia Beach Jaycees. Whether at the gym or spending time at her kids’ many sporting events, Lisa brings a well-rounded perspective and enthusiasm to their professional and personal life.
